Football magazines are much of a muchness, right? Goals, money, cars, money, girls, more money… and so on. CFCnet was one of the first websites - and possibly the only football magazine - to offer its readers a thoughtful, intelligent, and insightful look at the modern game, with its emphasis firmly on Europe’s most notorious club: Chelsea FC.

Aimed firmly at the growing domestic and international fan base of this ambitious club, CFCnet has from the very beginning enjoyed strong ties with the football club, including exclusive interviews with top players such as England captain John Terry, England regular Frank Lampard, and French legend Claude Makelele.

The quarterly magazine bridges the divide between the modernist view of football as a money-driven business, and the historic passion and loyalty of the 60s, 70s and 80s.

The CFCnet magazine is borne out of the web site www.cfcnet.co.uk, Chelsea’s biggest unofficial fans community which attracts 140,000 unique visitors per month and millions of hits. The CFCnet magazine receives prominent promotion on the CFCnet web site and is also promoted to the mailing list of just over 11,000 people.

Issue 4 of the CFCnet magazine is now in the high street in and around greater London. Issue 4 features some great memories from the last 25 years or so. In fact it has a definite 1980s feel about it. Of course we will bring the magazine right up to date with a look back at the FA Cup final and other articles related to the present day.
